Together with the Rotary Club of Guam and numerous other sponsors, Dewitt Moving & Storage donated it’s time and facilities to help bring more than 6,000 books to different schools in the region. An assortment of fiction, history, science, adult non-fiction and numerous other genres will now entertain and educate students in the Philippines, Pohnpei and Guam. Corine Berking, President, Victor Valenzuela, Vice President and Rotary Club of Guam member spearheaded this community service. Together, with Rotary, they directed the receiving, storage and deliveries of the books to John F. Kennedy High School on Guam and local freight forwarders for the distribution to the Philippines...

For the past 10 years United Airlines along with the Guam community have been “towing the line to save lives” to raise money for the American Cancer Society and Guam Cancer Care. At this year’s event, DeWitt Guam was honored and recognized for supporting and participating in the United Plane Pull for the last decade. On April 25th, forty teams from around the island came together to participate in this years fun filled event. With 100% of the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society and Guam Cancer Care. Dewitt Moving and Storage, Guam participated in the American Red Cross annual “Red Ball” fundraiser. Companies from throughout the Island came together to raise funds for the American Red Cross. 100% of the proceeds goes towards assisting the community in need of emergency shelter and basic necessities during times of crisis. Guam has a history of natural disasters and the ARC is a vital part of the community who rallies up supplies and volunteer to help those in need. The event was held on Saturday September 8, 2012. Activities included pampering by Mariacy Beauty School and entertainment by SIGMA. Guam moving company Dewitt Moving and Storage Guam started a new tradition this year in Guam. Veterans of the annual holiday toy drive on the island, Guam mover Dewitt expanded their charitable efforts this year, graciously volunteering to take part in the Salvation Army’s annual Bell Ringing Campaign. Dewitt volunteers, dressed in red aprons and ringing holiday bells, managed to raise over $100 during their 2 hour shift! With millions of dollars being raised globally for the cause, the bell ringing campaign was again successful in keeping up with the spirit of the holiday season.
